Here at Mason Park Medical Clinic, we understand many of our patients have busy lives, making it difficult to attend appointments in person. Or, perhaps it´s just a matter of feeling too under the weather.
That’s why we’ve adapted our business model to include telehealth services so our patients can receive the same level of care, even if their schedule doesn’t allow them to come to our office.
Virtual care is an excellent way for patients to ask questions, refill prescriptions, and assess health concerns. We offer both walk-in and scheduled appointments, allowing us to be flexible with our patients.

What To Expect
Scheduling
When it comes to scheduling an appointment, we ask that you go to our website and fill out the requested information so we can provide you with appropriate care.
Questions include the reason for the visit, the doctor you’d like to see if you’re a new patient or existing, as well as your insurance information.
After submitting the information, you’ll be contacted by a specialist who will work with you to schedule your appointment.
Access
Before your appointment, you’ll receive instructions on how to access the virtual care platform; this may involve downloading an app, creating an online account, or simply clicking a link to enter a virtual waiting room.
Technology Requirements
Ensure you have a reliable internet connection, a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a camera and microphone, as these are necessary for video consultation. Be prepared to provide necessary medical information and insurance details if required.
Check-In
On the day of your appointment, log in or enter the virtual waiting room a few minutes before your scheduled time to check in. You may need to complete any required forms or questionnaires.
When the provider is ready, you’ll be connected to them via video call.
Examination
Some aspects of a physical examination may be conducted remotely with the guidance of the healthcare provider. They may ask you to perform certain movements or actions to help with their assessment.
Based on the discussion and examination, the provider will offer a diagnosis and recommend treatment options. This may involve prescriptions, referrals to specialists, or lifestyle recommendations.
Billing and Follow-Up
Billing and payment will be addressed virtually. Your doctor may also schedule a follow-up appointment to see how the recommended form of treatment is working.
